Forum Re-Creation

This forum will be re-created in a few days just to let you know, this forum is like dead, so that's why it will be re-created sorry everyone for post loss

I dont think so, smart dude.You gotta call more members from net,friends,family, get charming stuff for your forum and do the best you can.Thats what admins do with it.My forum was dead in the beginning, but now after my trial, it has 61 Members with approx. 4000 Posts!

Well, most general forums I have seen are doing that... well, noone is interested in general forums anymore except staff / vips of forums, normal members never come back because they don't get anything, and I did many things to get active members but NOONE stays active except staff and vips!! This forum has enough things I think, well, in the middle of this forum, this forum was kinda nicely active but it gone kinda dead, I did many things for this site TBH but still isn't successful, well I am thinking of another idea of re-starting this forum in this area, delete all inactive members and most of the posts from them, because that might make it more active and people have to re-register and they might get active, but most of the members will stay and have their posts and this forum will be all changed, have a lighter theme, change of name etc.

Well, there is a forum called something offtopic.......it has so so so so many members and hundreds.thousands lakhs..of posts.....All they do is that they put interesting things in their forum..being friendly...Giving everyone an opportunity to be an actor of that forum.......And let me tell u something mister, Dont be proudy for something else...and i fyo do, it will be finished soon......

I know there are lots and lots of successful discussion forums and I wan this to be successful, well, you haven't replied my post properly, you talked about the other thing, I am talking about this forum, should we do the idea in the last part of my last post?

Well, again I am thinking of re-creating forum because if I re-create in the original sites, it won't be fresh, we can't delete and re-post all threads, but the new forum will be fresh, we would get many posts in the first day because we'll transfer all the threads there... what do you think? it won't be fresh to re-start on the original forum.....

It really all depends on you.You are the founder and its all your wish.Frank Speaking, Our forum is not too much famous to be posted so if we prune the useless posts and members, it would be good, and if we change the name etc. and then tell people that this forum is started from today and there are too many posts in one day! There is dishonesty in it, but its a nice idea!

Ok, What should I do of these three things;

Shut Down the forum; Totally close it!
Re-create, make a new forum with many changes
Re-Start; Re-start in this forum with many pruning and address change etc.

Well when you will sell it, what would you get?
I have a pretty cool idea now.I dont think so you will like it....
But Lets do one thing..No need to delete this forum.......

Just change the url, theme, name, delete all posts+Members etc. and if you want, lets start a new forum about boys....where everything about boys goes????

Umm.. Nice idea there Mustafa, I like it ( it's re-start idea ) and josherz, I am NOT creating a promotion forum at ALL! there are enough in this world and general forums are dying so I would support General Forums instead.

Forum promotions get members because people can request posts and promote there forum, and whats a forum about boys

Promotion forum is a dumb idea.Who would come to our forum afterall there are many great promoting forums, like Forumadvertiser,ForumPromotion etc?
And there is no fun in it, serving others all the time.We are almost the teens, we dont need to get to the official works.Why not have fun and have something new when there are enough promotion forums?And If we start doing these jobs from now, what would we do when we'll grow up!?I totally disagree with the PROMOTION FORUM idea.Promotion forum is just a waste of time in my perspective.And believe me, After sometime, we would be totally bored.Just see how it feels to run a fun forum! Its cool! And if you want, beside it we would keep 2-3 forums of advertising or so.

Well if not boys forum, then forums for both, boys and girls,
I thought of making a forum about boys so we can share the conflicting issues on a man's way of living and we could improve the way of our's; boys life.As you can also see, every forum doesnt has much girls.The ratio is alike 10:1
If 10 boys join, 1 girl join.Ofcourse, I dont hate girls and so i am telling you to make boys forum, I like all of them.But we shall start a forum about boys with everything about fun and their life and how to live.I was thinking to make it first, but then I THOught I will make it with Xclipse.As we are almost of same age.

And let me remind you Josh, If a forum has 100 members with 1000 posts, its better to have 2 members with 2000 posts.Great amount of members doesnt matters.The activity and the fun matters!

ok i though making a forum about boy would be hard because its talking about all that stuff that you mentioned which i dont think is fun, its more fun and rewarding from a promotion forum were you will get posts on your forum and posts on there forum

And does it really matter if there is other promotion forums ? No i dont think so because if you have a service that they dont have then they will go there
